What’s this, a blog post? A blog?!
2018 has been incredible. I can’t believe where I’ve come - a couple of weeks ago I photographed my 33rd wedding. In two years. It’s crazy and I’m so incredibly happy and fortunate. And can we talk about my award nomination? How amazing was that?! I’m so honoured to have met all of my couples, past and present, to have made beautiful friendships, gained more work as a result (either for wedding recommendations or for little ones) and built such a strong portfolio.
2019 will see me continue to photograph stunning weddings, from churches and smaller, intimate weddings, to vineyards and manor houses. Not to mention my trip to Poland in June that I am so excited about.
And with all this, I’ve decided to work on a new, more personal website. My previous site was perfectly okay to display photographs but I was aware of the ridiculous loading time, and if I’m honest I had no idea how to use it. I’ve built this one from scratch myself, and I couldn’t be happier.
And what better time to do it than the start of a new year? I’ve also taken the decision to focus more locally, looking at Cheltenham, the Cotswolds and the South West. I’ve travelled all over the UK this year, and while I love it, love meeting new people and photographing in new incredible venues, it’s also nice to stay local and build up relationships with suppliers nearby. That being said, if you’re based in London or Manchester and you’re having a quirky or just beautiful wedding, hit me up.
Thank you again for all of your on-going support. Let’s make 2019 even better.
